Most landlords reference their tenants within the ‘Rent Now’ process once a holding deposit has been placed. However, if you just want referencing, we offer the same industry leading service and price on a standalone basis. Simply order the reference and we will keep you updated by email. The landlord will need to pay for each reference up front.
Tenancy agreements prepared and signed
Prop Home can arrange for the signing of your tenancy via our electronic signing system.
Prop home can take the hassle out of collecting rent. We will arrange a standing order and forward the payment to the landlord on the same day it’s paid.

Energy performance certificate (EPC)
It is a legal requirement to obtain an EPC prior to letting your property. In Scotland, this must be obtained before advertising. Prop Home will help secure an EPC that lasts for 10 years - and comes at an incredibly low price
Gas Safety Certificate
If your rental property has a gas boiler or any gas appliances, an annual safety certificate is a legal requirement. Prop Home has a network of GasSAFE registered engineers who can certify your gas appliances, and also offer optional boiler servicing to avoid unforeseen future repair costs.
It is the landlord's responsibility to ensure all electrical fittings, wiring and supplied appliances are in safe and working order. Prop Home can help provide you with a Fixed Wiring (EICR) test certification.
Comprehensive Inventory Services

Formal Property Visits
Prop Home can arrange an inspection of your property, providing a concise report.
Tenant Check in
Prop Home will arrange the ‘check in’ when your tenant moves in, ensuring the tenant is off on the correct foot at the commencement of their tenancy. Peace of mind for the landlord.
Prop Home will arrange the ‘check out’ when your tenant moves out, this includes a report showing you the state of property repair at the date of moving out. The report can be used to negotiate agreed deductions from the security deposit.

Download our tenancy contract pack in word format. You will have the ability to edit and ensure that everything is in order via our own tenancy agreements.
Key Collection & Return
With our key collection and return service, we will arrange the return of a set of keys via Royal Mail Special Delivery.
Utilities Notification, including metre readings
Prop Home can ensure that the correct meter readings are taken to ensure that the utility suppliers have updated readings for when a tenant moves in or out.
Right to Rent Check
A landlord must ask for documents that prove a tenant has the right to live in the UK. Prop Home can help ensure that you have this in place prior to a tenant moving in.
Prop Home provide measurement for up to 6 bedrooms or 1.5 hours on site.
